It’s interesting how our taste palates evolve overtime. Canned tuna was never desirable to me as a kid; the canned part is what got me! Now, tuna salad is a quick lunch that I highly favor (packed with omega-3 fat & a good source of protein), especially when using the recipe below!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cans tuna
- 1 celery stalk
- 1 Persian cucumber
- 3 tbsp mayo
- 1 tbsp spicy brown mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- pinch sea salt
- pinch ground black pepper
DIRECTIONS
- Drain canned tuna and dice celery & cucumber. Add to large bowl and mix in rest of the ingredients. Enjoy!
- BONUS: Top onto some extra toasty bread for an even extra crunch!
